Concentration values

Postby nasa develop » March 12th, 2013, 12:43 pm

I ran web-based Hysplit model to obtain concentration, deposition and exposure plots. All the values are in the form of E negative power. So for example if I get a value 2.5E-5
Would it mean 2.5 (2.71828...)^ -5, here E is a mathematical constant or 2.5 * 10^ -5?
I am not sure what E stands for in these values.

Thanks!

E in this case means exponential notation, so 2.5E-5 means 0.000025
